This summer, a number of W&L Law faculty will lead optional, short discussions relating to their fields of expertise or on a topic that interests them. Each offering will be tailored by the professor, but as a group they are centered around cutting-edge topics, case developments, books, or movies. The discussion groups are designed to spark your interest in a range of topics and to build community prior to the start of your 1L year.

Details about the sessions can be found online:  https://law.wlu.edu/admissions/in-focus/summer-programs

Note that each offering will meet TWICE, with each meeting lasting either an hour or 90 minutes.  You are expected to attend both sessions if you register for a series.
Registration is capped within each series at 15-20 students depending on the offering.  Students will be contacted after registering with details for the Zoom appointments and any needed preparatory reading.

Please sign up for no more than two series.
