We encourage visitors to review the university's COVID-19 resource page to learn more about W&L's response to the ongoing pandemic, as well as for updates regarding masking policies and social distancing recommendations.  Participation in in-person Open House is voluntary, and despite precautions taken, W&L cannot guarantee that participants or others in attendance will not be exposed to COVID-19.

Note that due to the ongoing pandemic, the university's plans for in-person open houses may need to be adjusted. We recommend avoiding non-refundable travel or lodging arrangements.

If you are registering for Open House after the March 21 priority deadline make sure to speak with Law Admissions (email or phone) before completing this form to ensure we can accommodate you.  Also, please be aware that shuttle service for April 2 is no longer available.

In the lead up to the Open House, if you or a close contact has recently been diagnosed with COVID-19 or you are experiencing symptoms of illness, please notify Law Admissions and reschedule your visit for an alternative date.  Information about scheduling an individual visit to campus can be found here.

The law school has arranged for blocks of rooms at two Lexington hotels for Open House participants.  Room blocks are available at the Hampton Inn - Lexington and at the Wingate by Wyndham for both dates; we urge you to book early if you wish to reserve a room in either block.  Please see our Open House FAQ page for more details about area lodging options.

In addition, the law school is pleased to provide limited shuttle service from the Roanoke Airport (ROA) for attendees who request shuttle during registration.  Requests to be on the Open House airport shuttle MUST be made in advance during event registration.  A pick-up will be offered from ROA departing at 8:30 a.m. on March 12 and on April 2, and attendees may return to ROA by shuttle departing from the law school at 4:00 p.m. OR at 5:30 p.m. on March 12 and on April 2. Please visit for a listing of ROA airport hotels offering pick-up/drop-off services, for a listing of ground transport options from the ROA airport, or contact the Admissions Office with questions.  Please see our Open House FAQ page for more details about transportation.
