W&L Alumni Career Volunteer Sign-Up Form

Welcome, Washington and Lee University alumni! The W&L Office of Career and Professional Development is grateful for your interest in engaging with our team to help current students and fellow alumni. Our dedicated alumni network is one of the best sources of knowledge, experience, advice and inspiration, and your willingness to share your time and talent with us is greatly appreciated. Volunteer Opportunities:

Participating in career-related events and programs:

This could include hosting students at your company or organization during a career trip in your area, returning to campus for industry-specific or interdisciplinary events, hosting a virtual information session, and other programming as specific needs or opportunities arise.

Serving as a career resource:

This indicates that you are open to speaking with students and fellow alumni about your career path and industry, and we would then connect you with individuals as interests and needs arise. This could also include providing shadowing opportunities for students.

Hiring students or alumni for internships or full-time jobs:

We will reach out to you to discuss ways to partner with our office to recruit students and alumni, learn about any immediate hiring needs or upcoming opportunities within your company or organization, and invite you to connect with W&L on Handshake (our online career platform) to post job and internship opportunities.
